Starting seeds under my grow light

Postby pansypicker » Tue Feb 09, 2010 6:54 pm

HI All,
It is winter in Michigan-another snow storm on the way (hopefully the last). I am getting ready to start my Flower seeds. I love Nicotiana and was wondering which of your seeds would be the most fragrant?
Thank you

Welcome to Peacefulfields P picker

Well one of the most aromatic & interesting Strain's I have is the Nicotiana Sylvestris. This rare plant has white trumpet shaped flowers that open in the early evenings & have a strong jasmine-like perfume smell. Originally from South America these plants can reach 5 feet tall & have high nicotine & sugar content. They can be grown in full to partial sun & need about 85 days to mature. Spacing should be at 2x3 feet rows. Will grow in a wide range of soils, yet like's a slight acidic condition 6.0-6.5ph.

Please check out the Classified Ad section for Photo's & more information on different variety's.

Welcome Aboard :D I hope to see  you around here during the new growing season.. Feel free to add information about anything else that you have grown or interested in....
